西暦の日付を選ぶと和暦（元号・年・月・日）が自動表示され、逆に元号・年・月・日を入力すると西暦の日付と曜日が自動表示されます。どちらから入力しても連動して更新されます。 Pick a Western date to see the matching Japanese era date, or enter an era, year, month, and day to see the Western date and weekday. Either side updates the other automatically.
役所や病院の書類で生年月日を和暦で記入するとき、契約書や履歴書の日付を西暦・和暦どちらで書くか確認したいとき、古い書類の昭和・平成表記が西暦何年か調べたいときに使えます。 Useful for filling in a birthdate in the Japanese era format on government or hospital forms, checking whether a contract or resume date should use Western or era notation, or converting an old document's Showa/Heisei year to the Western calendar.

どの元号に対応していますか？Which era names are supported?
明治・大正・昭和・平成・令和に対応しています。各元号の開始日（大正=1912年7月30日、昭和=1926年12月25日、平成=1989年1月8日、令和=2019年5月1日）を基準に日付単位で判定します。Meiji, Taisho, Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa. Conversion uses each era's exact start date (Taisho: 1912-07-30, Showa: 1926-12-25, Heisei: 1989-01-08, Reiwa: 2019-05-01) for day-level accuracy.
明治の変換は正確ですか？Is the Meiji conversion precise?
本ツールでは明治元年を1868年1月1日として簡易的に扱っています。実際の改元（旧暦明治元年9月8日、グレゴリオ暦換算で1868年10月23日）や、明治5年まで日本が旧暦（太陰太陽暦）を使用していた経緯があるため、1868〜1873年頃の日付は目安としてご利用ください。This tool treats Meiji 1 as starting January 1, 1868 for simplicity. The actual era change and Japan's use of a lunisolar calendar until 1873 make dates in 1868–1873 approximate—use them as a general guide.
「元年」表記に対応していますか？Does it use "Gannen" (year 1) notation?
対応しています。各元号の1年目は「令和元年」のように表記されます。Yes. The first year of each era is displayed as e.g. "令和元年" (Reiwa Gannen).
対応範囲外の日付を入力するとどうなりますか？What happens if I enter a date outside an era's range?
選択した元号の在位期間外の年月日を入力するとエラー表示になります。年数を正しい範囲に調整してください。An error is shown if the year falls outside the selected era's range. Adjust the year to a valid value.
